Weaver? I Hardly now Her!- Weaver/Jennie Lakes Backpacking
Join Talie, Maia, and Matt for some ~chillish~ backpacking in Kings Canyon National Park at the Jennie/Weaver Lakes Loop! We’ll meet by EVK and boogie out around 4 PM on Friday 9/24–we should get to the park entrance after dark and will chef up some sort of lovely dinner (spag carb?) before hitting the hay. In the morning we’ll get FUELED and start out on the trail for our 2 day trek. Expect about 10 miles, moderate elevation gain, and a lunch break at Weaver Lake before we hit our campsite at Jennie Lake. We’ll stretch out and grub before day 2, which will grace us with an easier 5-7 miles before we reach the car and truck it back to USC.
